Linen Room Staff

Linen Room Staff position open for applicants up to 45 years old with a high school diploma. Applicants with hospital work experience will be given special consideration. Key responsibilities for this position include receiving dirty linen from various departments, sorting linen by type, level of soiling, and risk of infection, as well as washing, ironing, and folding linen neatly and ready for use. Additionally, infectious or bodily fluid-contaminated linen must be separated according to hospital guidelines, and the quality of linen after washing must be checked. Linen room staff are responsible for preparing clean linen for each department, distributing and collecting linen according to the schedule, counting linen before and after use, recording dispensing and return data, reporting lost linen, and separating damaged, deteriorated, or unusable linen.
